About Faith Lutheran Church in Bellaire, Texas

Founded in 1946, Faith Lutheran Church, serving  Bellaire and West Houston, Texas, is a community of forgiven sinners that exists to celebrate and develop the faith, love and hope of Christ in our lives and in others.

The Gathering Contemporary Worship Service @ 8:30 AM: Communion, Live Band, Drama, Message. A nursery for children age three and younger is available during this service. See an usher for location.

Sunday School @ 9:45 -10:45 AM.

Traditional Worship Service @ 11 AM with Holy Communion.

Visiting Faith?

Faith Congregation embraces folks of all ages. Membership is through baptism, affirmation of faith or letter of transfer. Orientation sessions for adults are offered on a timely basis throughout the year. Instruction of youth for confirmation is during the school year.

Communion at Faith Lutheran

Beginning with the fifth grade, all who are baptized and who confess Jesus Christ as their Savior and  Lord are encouraged to receive the bread and wine at Communion. All who trust the words "given and shed for you" are worthy of the Lord's supper, a time of remembrance, self-examination and forgiveness. Children younger than fifth grade are welcome to come to the altar rail to receive a blessing.

Do you have a Bible to read at home?
If not, please pick one up when you come to Sunday worship. The Bible is called "The Journey" and it is a gift to you when you visit.
