Faith Groups. It's about meeting together regularly with others for encouragement, while growing in a relationship with God. It's a safe place to ask questions, build friendships, utilize special talents and experience mutual care and support. Churches can be intimidating for new people who feel lost in crowds. Though people come to the church for many different reasons they generally stay for only one — relationships. Success at Faith is defined by how effectively people are moved into small groups. Faith Groups are the best places for sustained life change. In small groups, people study God's word and discuss the issues and challenges of life. It's also where they pray, care for one another — and are missed if they don't show up. |

Faith Alive! "Faith Alive!" is the band that leads worship at The Gathering, Faith's contemporary worship each Sunday at 8:30 AM. Band members employ their musical gifts to glorify God in true spirit-led worship that strives to meet the spiritual needs of seekers. If you have musical gifts and a heart for people who have not yet entered into a relationship with Jesus Christ, and you are interested in joining Faith Alive!, please contact team leader, Alan Balius @ 832-755-1372. |

First Place First Place is a Christ-centered health program for men and women of all ages. Using a support system incorporating Bible study, scripture memorization, prayer and balanced eating and exercise plans, First Place changes lives physically, spiritually and emotionally. The First Place program consists of nine fitness categories which make up the "Commitments" each member is asked to prayerfully consider and follow when joining a class. The nine commitments are: • Attendance • Encouragement • Prayer • Bible Reading • Scripture Memory • Bible Study • "Live-It" Plan • Commitment Record • Exercise First Place offers eight Bible studies. In addition to health management, these studies address many issues of everyday life and provide opportunities for growth in Christ. Members complete a weekly Bible study which, combined with prayer and Scripture reading, helps impart God's strength, empowering members to overcome temptation and make long-lasting lifestyle changes. Sessions are Tuesdays @ 7 PM. |

Prayer Chain The prayer chain is a network of individuals who receive prayer requests, forward them to the next person in the network and then immediately and daily pray each request. Faith's Prayer Chain is the spiritual alarm system of the church. It communicates and takes prayerful action on behalf of the needs of individuals, the congregation, the community, the nation and the world. The importance of the Prayer Chain in the life of the church is that it faithfully intercedes on behalf of others in need by lifting up specific requests. |

Stephen Ministry Stephen Ministry is a supportive ministry for the family of Faith Lutheran. Trained Stephen Ministers provide ongoing Christian care to people experiencing a wide range of life transformations or life crises. Stephen Ministers "walk with you" through difficult times. They care, listen and provide distinctively Christian care and support. A Stephen Minister is not an ordained pastor nor a professional counselor, but a lay person who has received training through the Stephen Ministry program.
