The Prayer Ministry at Faith Lutheran Church helps individuals develop a more intimate relationship with God through prayer by providing opportunities to learn about prayer, experience prayer, share prayer and prayer support for those in need. |

Prayer Ministry Vision: Members of Faith have an intimate relationship with God that is evidenced in their daily prayers for: • the Glory of God (Romans 11:36) |

Romans 11:36 says, "For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen. In giving glory to God the first priority on our prayers, we acknowledge his sovereignty over all things. |

|
Hebrews 11:6b says, "For whoever would draw near to God must have faith that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him." When we drawn near to God in prayer, our faith is strengthened as our relationship with him grows. |
||||
|
1 Timothy 2:1 tells us, "I urge that supplications, prayer, intercessions and thanksgivings be made for all men." Our love and concern for our fellow Christians moves us to pray for them. |

|
In Matthew 6:10 Jesus says we are to pray, "Thy kingdom come, they will be done." |

PRAYER CHAIN: Send a prayer request to the prayer team. The prayer chain is a network of individuals who receive prayer
requests, forward them to the next person in the network and then
immediately and daily pray each request. |

PRAYER MINISTRY TEAM: Our churches, communities and nations need strong leaders, people of
honesty, integrity and deep devotion to Christ. Prayer support is
important for all these people, especially the leaders of our
church. The PRAYER MINISTRY TEAM is committed to praying for the
needs, issues and priorities of the staff and leadership of Faith.
